What can surveillance help establish?

Surveillance can document observable activity relevant to concerns about infidelity, child custody, insurance claims, or employee misconduct. Depending on the assignment, that may include arrivals and departures, locations visited, interactions, or physical activities.

An investigation may support your concern, contradict it, or leave questions unanswered. Our job is to report what we observe accurately. A photograph captures a moment; the surrounding timeline helps explain what that moment does and does not establish.

How much does surveillance cost?

We provide a case-specific estimate based on the assignment. Relevant factors include the location, anticipated hours, travel, scheduling, and whether the circumstances require more than one investigator.

During the initial discussion, we review your objective and the information you can provide. A current photograph, vehicle description, known schedule, and relevant locations can help us assess the work involved. We discuss the proposed scope and estimate before work begins. How long does a surveillance investigation take?

The time required depends on the activity being investigated and the opportunities to observe it. Some questions concern a specific date or event. Others involve patterns that may require observation on multiple days.

Weather, traffic, access, changes in routine, and periods with no relevant activity can affect the assignment. There is no guaranteed number of hours that will produce a particular result. We use the information available to plan the work and explain when further observation may be useful.

What will I receive at the end?

You receive a written report, timestamped photographs, and timestamped video documenting the activity captured during the assignment. The amount of imagery depends on what occurs and what can be recorded safely and appropriately.

The report provides a timeline and describes relevant observations, including limitations or gaps that affect the findings. We distinguish what was directly observed from information provided by others. If you are working with an attorney, discuss any specific documentation needs with us before the assignment. Your attorney can assess how the findings fit your matter.

How will I receive updates?

You receive daily updates during an active surveillance assignment. These updates help you understand the work completed, relevant developments, and whether the available information suggests a change in approach.

We establish how to reach you before work begins. Let us know if there are times, phone numbers, or communication methods we should avoid to protect your privacy. Updates describe the investigation’s progress; the final report brings the documented findings together.

What are the limits of surveillance?

Surveillance is limited to activity we can appropriately observe and document. Hiring an investigator does not guarantee access to private spaces, private communications, or every detail of someone’s life.

We discuss the proposed methods and boundaries before accepting the assignment. We do not promise a particular finding or agree to manufacture evidence. If the observations do not support your concern, the report should make that clear. Questions about legal strategy or how evidence may be used belong with your attorney.

Where do you conduct surveillance?

Our Northwest Florida service area includes Pensacola and communities throughout Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, and Walton counties. Tell us the expected locations when requesting an estimate, including any travel outside these counties.
