Threat Assessments
Oddfellow Investigations helps businesses, organizations, and individuals in Pensacola and across Northwest Florida assess specific safety and security concerns. We examine available information to help you understand the situation and identify practical next steps.
Owner Mike Lowery brings 22 years of U.S. Army counterintelligence experience to evaluating information, recognizing gaps, and separating documented behavior from assumptions.
When is a threat assessment useful?
An assessment may be useful when you receive concerning communications, observe repeated unwanted contact, face a workplace security concern, or need to review vulnerabilities surrounding a person, property, or event.
We begin with what has occurred, when it happened, and what supporting information is available. The focus is on behavior and circumstances rather than speculation about someone’s intentions.
What does an assessment involve?
Depending on the assignment, work may include reviewing incident timelines, messages, relevant records, access arrangements, and existing security procedures. We consider the source and reliability of information and identify questions that require further examination.
An assessment cannot predict someone’s actions with certainty. Its purpose is to support informed decisions based on the information available and the limitations of that information.
What happens after the assessment?
We explain the findings, unresolved concerns, and practical recommendations within the agreed scope. These may include improving documentation, adjusting access procedures, or identifying matters that warrant additional investigation or referral.
Costs and timing are based on your circumstances, the material requiring review, and the work involved. We provide a case-specific estimate before beginning.
Call (850) 426-3901 or email contact@oddfellowpi.com to discuss an assessment. For an immediate threat or emergency, call 911.
